About Us
Founded in 2016 partners Dr. Anuj James, Dr. Faith McGibbon, Dr. Grant Wiles, Dr. Michael Knowles, Dr. Terrance Smith, Dr. Mit Patel and Dr. Bradley Ryan established North Carolina’s first dental-only ambulatory surgery center. These state-of-the-art facilities were created for dentists by dentists to provide an optimal environment for dental providers to perform procedures on their own patients in a setting tailored specifically to their needs. Locations began in in Fayetteville, Greensboro and Charlotte, North Carolina and are now growing into South Carolina, Florida and Pennsylvania.

Valleygate Surgery Centers are licensed and accredited ambulatory surgery centers providing a hospital-like setting for safe, high-quality surgical care. Our mission is to deliver convenient, patient-centered care in a safe and supportive environment, led by board-certified anesthesiologist MDs and supported by certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants. Accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, our facilities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Our Surgery Centers
Our surgical centers are designed to deliver the highest level of care and comfort to every patient. Each procedure is overseen by state- and board-certified anesthesiologists who bring extensive expertise in providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care. In addition, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) remain in the room at all times during surgery, ensuring continuous monitoring and immediate attention to every patient’s needs. This team-based approach allows us to maintain the safest environment possible while supporting dental providers in offering an exceptional surgical experience.
